Clinical Lead & Aesthetic Nurse Specialist

Mel Recchia qualified as a Registered Nurse at Stoke Mandeville Hospital in 1997. Following qualification, she worked at Stoke Mandeville in the Burns unit, looking after burn injured patients and patients undergoing cosmetic surgery. She then went on to work in Accident and Emergency for 8 years.

Mel made the move into aesthetic nursing in 2006 and gained her V300 course in 2011. After working as an aesthetic practitioner for a number of years, Mel joined the Cosmetic Courses team in 2010 and is now one of our lead trainers. She was previously part of the Allergan Faculty and is currently a regional expert for Teoxane and is also on the board of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN) and Save Face.

Mel is keen on sharing her knowledge and experience with other professionals coming into the industry.
