Surviving Lockdown – What is available to youThere are many different options for you and your business at this time:- Rate Relief for public facing business forced to close – Your entire rate bill for 2020/21 should be refunded
- Furlough Employees (Must have been employed on PAYE on 31st October 2020) – Government will pay 80% of your employees wages but you must pay the NIC and Pension contributions
- Grants for the 2021 Lockdown Period available from your council for every rate payer:
• £9,000 for over £51,000 rateable vale
• £6,000 for £15,000 to £51,000
• £4,000 under £15,000 - Monthly Grants are available in addition for every month you are closed. This is also available from your council and will continue when the tier system is reintroduced and if your business continues to be affected.
If you not a rate payer then other grants are available such as Councils discretionary grants.In addition to the grant, there are funds for the tier system that run during lockdown and the tiers. - If you had to close in November and were restricted in December, then close in January you should be paid for every month you are shut.
- All Councils pay different amounts and you must apply from your local council who have been given the money to distribute.

Bounce Back Loan- You can borrow up to £50,000 and up to a maximum of 25% of turnover
- Apply with your bank, if your bank is not participating then one of the large banks will consider your application
- Take 3 days to be approved and to be paid
- You can apply until 31/03/2021
- First 6 months interest paid by the government then low interest for 6 years
