Melanie is a registered nurse with over 25 years experience working in the NHS. Since qualifying from the University of Hertfordshire in 1998, she has been driven to accomplish senior roles and working at advanced levels. In 2016 she completed her Masters in Advanced Practice and became a Nurse Prescriber working across Nursing/Medical boundaries as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Primary, Secondary and Tertiary centres.

Melanie Collins has completed nearly all foundation to expert level training at Cosmetic Courses and is currently undertaking her Level 7 in Facial Aesthetics. Throughout Melanie’s career she has made significant contributions to medical education and wanted this to continue into her aesthetics career, and was overwhelmed that she was able to join the cosmetic courses education team in January 2023. She is passionate about both aesthetics and education and motivating others to be successful in their career paths, pushing past their comfort zone , building confidence and empowering safe, best practice.

Melanie now works full time in aesthetics and has a successful aesthetic clinic alongside working 2 days a week as a trainer for cosmetic courses.
