February 2026 Monthly Update

Welcome to our February 2026 Monthly Update

This month, we are focusing on something important – clear training routes and rising standards in aesthetics.

There is growing pressure for tighter regulation in the UK. At the same time, more professionals are entering the industry. This means choosing the right pathway matters more than ever.

Below, you’ll find updates on training, qualifications, regulation, and upcoming events.

“As regulation develops across the UK, standards in aesthetics are rightly increasing. Our focus this quarter is to ensure that professionals entering the industry do so with proper structure, recognised qualifications, and realistic expectations. Clear pathways protect both patients and practitioners.

February Foundation Botox & Dermal Filler Training

Foundation Botox & Dermal Filler Training Course

For many medical professionals, Foundation training is the first real step into aesthetics.

Our Foundation Botox and Dermal Filler Training Course is designed to give you:

  • A clear understanding of facial anatomy
  • Safe, supervised injecting experience
  • Small group teaching
  • Ongoing support after the course

This course is suitable for doctors, dentists, nurses, and prescribing practitioners who want a structured, medically led entry into injectables.

It is not just about learning how to inject. It is about learning how to assess, plan, and treat safely.

Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Treatments

Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Treatments

The Level 7 qualification is for medical professionals who want a formal, recognised injectable qualification.

As regulation tightens, formal qualifications will carry more weight. Level 7 provides:

  • Structured clinical assessment
  • Portfolio-based evidence
  • Governance and compliance focus
  • Clear professional progression

We also offer a Fast Track route for experienced injectors with 3+ years in practice.

Level 7 is designed for medical practitioners only, as it covers injectable treatments.

February Regulation Update - Why This Matters

Regulation Update – Why This Matters

A recent BBC report highlighted urgent concerns around aesthetic treatment regulation in Scotland. Wider UK reform is expected to follow.

This is not just news – it affects everyone working in aesthetics.

Stronger regulation will likely mean:

  • Clearer qualification requirements
  • Tighter treatment standards
  • Greater accountability

Now is the time to ensure your training is structured and recognised.

We’ve written a blog explaining what this could mean for practitioners.

Qualifications Level 3 Level 4 Pathways

Qualifications: Level 3 & Level 4 Pathways

Not everyone entering aesthetics is a medic.

For non-medical professionals, we offer structured skin and laser routes.

Level 3 Certificate in Access to Aesthetic Therapies

This is an entry qualification for those beginning in aesthetic treatments. Click here to view the Level 3 Certificate in Access to Aesthetic Therapies.

Level 4 Qualification

This builds on Level 3 and focuses on advanced skin rejuvenation and laser-based treatments.

These qualifications cover skin and laser treatments only.

They do not lead into injectable training, and they are not part of the Level 7 pathway, which is for medical professionals.

Choosing the right route from the start prevents confusion later.
