Profhilo treatment
Profhilo® is used by placing strategic injections in the areas being treated. The product works under the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin. Profhilo® has been proven to have long lasting results, we recommend a course of 3 for optimum results. The reason for the long lasting results can be found behind the slow release of hyaluronic acid beneath the skin which in turn improves the bodies tissue along with tightening and lifting the skin.
This is a great treatment for patients as the results of Profhilo treatments can last up to 6 months, (dependant on patient’s age and skin type) and following the procedure, there may be some slight tenderness and redness, however the symptoms will dissipate quickly.

What qualifications do I need to do Profhilo?
You must be medically qualified as a surgeon, doctor, dentist or nurse with a current registration with the GMC, GDC or NMC, or equivalent if you are an overseas delegate.
Can Dentists train in Profhilo?
Yes, Dentists, Dental Hygienists and Dental Nurses can train in Profhilo. You must have a current registration with the GDC or equivalent if you are an overseas delegate.
What level of Nursing do you need to have to start in Profhilo?
As long as you have a current registration with the NMC you can train with Cosmetic Courses.
Can you train in Profhilo without being a nurse?
To train with us at Cosmetic Course we require you to be a registered Doctor, Dentist or Nurse with current registration with the GDC, GMC or NMC.
Can non-medics train in Profhilo?
Here at Cosmetic Courses we only train medical professionals.
I am an overseas medical professional can I attend the course and start practicing in the UK?
Cosmetic Courses require you to be a medical professional with a current registration with your governing body. We will require you to send these through prior to training with us. Once you have completed your training you will only be able to practice in the country of your medical qualification.
I live overseas can I still attend your training courses?
Yes. At Cosmetic Courses we only train medical professionals such as a surgeons, doctors, dentists or nurses and have a current registration with a governing body. We would need to see copies of your medical certificates and registration and we would only be able to certify you to practice in the country that you are registered in.
Can I do aesthetic training courses online?
Yes, we have a whole host of Aesthetic training courses available online from foundation to expert.
