4 online learning units to develop your theoretical knowledge.
4 practical days treating live patients.
12 case studies to consolidate your skills.
Written assignments plus theory and practical assessments.
Mandatory units include:
Principles, practices and ethical considerations for advanced aesthetic therapies.
Consultative techniques in advanced aesthetic therapies.
Dermatological science for advanced aesthetic therapies.
Providing advanced chemical skin peeling / skin needling treatments.
Level 6 Learning Outcomes

Course Duration
The VTCT (ITEC) Level 6 Certificates take between three to six months to complete. This timeframe allows you to balance your learning alongside your personal commitments while progressing at a steady pace.

Level 6 FAQs
What qualifications do I need in order to apply?
You must hold a Level 3 beauty qualification or an equivalent. If you’re unsure, you can always speak with us and we can advise.
Do I need to complete Level 4 and 5 before?
No, you can enrol directly onto a Level 6 Certificate if you meet the entry requirements. Many practitioners choose to complete this qualification to cover the levels 4 – 6 combined.
Where will the training take place?
Practical training is delivered at our Buckinghamshire and London centres, both CQC-registered and fully equipped to provide the highest standards for your learning.
How is the course structured?
You’ll complete online learning, attend four practical training days, complete 12 case studies, complete written assignments and finish with theory and practical assessments.
Will I get to treat live patients?
Yes. All practical sessions involve live hands on training under close supervision of our trainers.
What support is available?
You’ll have access to support throughout your qualification for guidance with any element of your learning, whether that be the practical, assignments or exam preparation.
What happens if I don’t pass first time?
Resits are available, and we’ll support you to ensure you feel confident for your next attempt.
On practical days, how many delegates are in each group?
We keep groups small to provide personalised support and ensure plenty of hands-on practice.

Yes. Both Level 6 Certificates are fully accredited by VTCT (ITEC) and recognised across the industry.
