April 2026 Monthly Update

Moving Forward in Aesthetics

Welcome to our April update.

We are now moving into a new phase.

The focus is no longer just getting started. It is about building confidence, gaining experience, and understanding what comes next.

Here is what has been happening this month.

“We are now seeing a shift in the industry. It is no longer just about getting started. Practitioners want to build confidence, gain real experience, and progress properly.

That is where our focus is now – supporting delegates beyond their first step and helping them move forward with clarity.

Aesthetic Awards UK 2026 Cosmetic Courses 25th Anniversary

Cosmetic Courses Awards – 25 Years

This year marks 25 years of Cosmetic Courses.

To celebrate, we are launching the Cosmetic Courses 25th Anniversary Awards.

These awards are about recognising the people behind the industry. The delegates, the clinics, and the practitioners building their careers in aesthetics.

It is a chance to celebrate progress, not just results.

London Open Day April

London Open Day – Starting Strong

We recently hosted our Starting Strong in Aesthetics Open Day in London.

It was a great day.

The focus was simple. Helping people understand how to get started properly.

Across the day, we covered:

  • Training pathways and qualifications
  • Business and clinic setup
  • Insurance and safety
  • Technology used in modern practice

There was also time to connect with others, ask questions, and see how everything fits together.

The feedback was very positive.

People left with a much clearer understanding of where they stand and what their next step looks like.

Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Treatments

Level 7 – Learning in Practice

This month, we welcomed the Regional Leads from The Nurses Network onto our Fast Track Level 7 pathway.

This is a strong group of experienced practitioners.

Seeing them complete Level 7 reinforces something important.

Even experienced injectors are choosing structured qualifications to strengthen their practice and move forward properly.

We are also continuing to offer mentoring days, giving delegates ongoing support as they progress.

Level 7 Delegate Story

One of our recent Level 7 delegates has now completed her qualification.

She built her confidence, gained experience, and progressed to Level 7, gaining formal recognition of her skills through the qualification.

In her own words, she shares what that journey has been like and how her confidence has changed over time.

This is what Level 7 is about.

Not just completing a qualification, but building real confidence in practice and working towards recognised standards in aesthetics.

Qualifications Level 3 Level 4 Pathways

Level 3 & Level 4 Pathways

We continue to offer clear pathways for those focusing on skin and laser treatments.

  • Level 3 – Entry into aesthetic therapies
  • Level 4 – Advanced skin and laser treatments

These qualifications give a structured route into this side of aesthetics.

Partner Support

Support does not stop after your course.

We continue to work with partners who help you as you move into practice.

Hale Health

We also partner with Hale Health.

Hale Health is a private healthcare provider offering both in-person and remote consultations across the UK and Ireland.

Founded by Dr Emma Cunningham, the service is built around accessible, trusted care delivered by experienced medical professionals.

Their clinics support:

  • Private and corporate patients
  • In-person consultations and treatments
  • Remote video appointments

This gives practitioners access to wider medical support when needed.

The Nurses Network

The Nurses Network (TNN)

TNN is a community built by experienced nurses. Their focus is simple. To support practitioners through the real challenges of working in aesthetics.

They provide guidance, support, and a network you can rely on as you grow.

What Happens After Your First Course?

This is one of the most common questions we hear.

Starting is one step. Knowing what to do next is another.

After your first course, the focus should be on:
1. Gaining experience
2. Building confidence
3. Treating your first patients
4. Knowing when to progress

There is no rush. But there should be a plan.

This is what we are focusing on as we move forward.
